If a casino withdrawal has not arrived, first establish whether the operator is still reviewing the request or says that a transfer has been released. Those are different questions, and they require different records.

There is no universal waiting period in this guide. We have not verified account-specific payout times for the brands WagerSift covers. The aim is to help you organise the facts and direct the next enquiry without guessing the cause of a delay.

Start with the last event you can document

Read the operator’s explanation of its status labels rather than assuming that “approved” means money has reached a bank.

Your record Question to resolve
A withdrawal request exists Has the operator acknowledged the request and identified outstanding checks?
The account says approved Does that mean internal approval, or has a transfer actually been released?
The operator says sent What method, amount, currency, date and transfer reference support that statement?
Money appears in your account Does the received amount reconcile with this request and any documented deductions?

These are research questions, not standard definitions used by every casino. If part of an amount arrives, record the received and outstanding portions separately. Do not mark the entire request complete solely because one transfer appeared.

If the request is still with the operator

Keep the withdrawal reference, request date, chosen method and status history. Save the terms relevant to the request and any written explanation of a hold.

A focused enquiry is easier to follow than repeatedly asking whether the money is coming:

Please confirm whether withdrawal [reference] is still under review or has been released. If it is under review, identify the outstanding item and the applicable condition. If it has been released, provide the payment method, date, amount, currency and available transfer reference.

This is a suggested message, not a guarantee of a response. WagerSift does not send it for you or manage the account. Do not cancel a withdrawal, gamble more or make another deposit merely to try to speed up an unexplained hold.

If an Interac transfer is reportedly sent

Interac’s ombudsman information explains that Interac facilitates messaging between financial institutions rather than holding customer funds. It directs transfer troubleshooting to the financial institution handling the account relationship.

For a missing transfer, use your bank’s verified support channel and the actual transfer information supplied. If the operator cannot provide a transfer reference or release details, make that missing evidence clear. An internal casino request number alone should not be presented as proof of an Interac transfer.

Keep the bank’s explanation alongside the operator’s reply. Do not infer that either party has completed its part from a generic “processed” message. Neither an enquiry nor a complaint guarantees recovery.

Keep verification requests specific

Ask what the document is intended to establish: identity, address or ownership of the payment account. Confirm the requested format and secure submission channel before sharing sensitive material. If you want to redact unrelated information, obtain clarification about what the recipient must be able to read first.

This is a way to clarify a request, not a Canadian statutory document list. Requirements for a particular account must be established from its applicable conditions. Keep document requests and completion confirmations together; do not send WagerSift identity documents, passwords or banking credentials.

Use a complaint route that covers the operator

For gambling products within its remit, iGaming Ontario’s player-support process generally starts with the regulated operator’s formal complaint procedure. Its guidance describes when an unresolved complaint can be submitted to iGO, and makes clear that iGO cannot directly settle bets, refund wagers or award compensation. It also identifies exceptions where certain regulatory concerns can go directly to AGCO.

That process is not a Canada-wide recovery service. Check the website’s relationship to the relevant authority before choosing an escalation route. Our provincial-status guide provides the source-checking steps; it does not establish that any particular WagerSift partner falls within iGO’s remit.

Keep the final outcome separate from the next action

Your record should distinguish what is confirmed, what remains unexplained and who is handling the next enquiry. A payment received, a request for another document and a complaint reference are three different outcomes.

If you are researching before opening an account, start with Canadian payment-method checks instead. The Canada hub connects the full research sequence. If the dispute is prompting you to keep gambling or chase a balance, pause and use our responsible gambling resources.
